| "Laugh A Little. Cry A Little. REJOICE A LOT!" |
| I was born in 1979, in El Centro, California. My family and I moved to Calhoun, Georgia, where I have spent most of my life. As a young child, I was introduced to Jesus Christ, but I never accepted Him as my Savoir. In 1997, I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. As a young Christian I knew I had a calling from the Lord, but I did not know what it was. Finally, in 1999, God called me into the music ministry. Following that, I joined with several music ministries, such as worship band, worship team, choir, and a quartet group. In 2001, I planned to marry my lovely wife, Nicole. Three weeks before I was to be married, I was involved in a tragic head- on collision, while traveling home from work. My most serious injury was a compound fracture in my leg. I went through four reconstructive surgeries to repair all the damage. While in the hospital, I believed that I had nothing to left give in my life, but God came and said to me, “Your leg is broken, not your voice!” It took two years of recovery, but the Lord was with me every step of the way. After I married Nicole, we were blessed with our firstchild Jaylnn in 2003, and then our second child Jaxon in 2010. They are my pride and joy, and I thank God everyday for them. In 2005, I became a Youth Pastor at Calhoun Community Church. I resigned in 2007 to begin my ministry with Emmaus Road. I plan on using all of the abilities that the Lord has blessed me with to spread His Word through music with Emmaus Road, and to continue my pursuit to become closer with my Lord and Savior, for He has given me a testimony, a new life, and a song to sing!
