I was born in Greensboro, NC, in 1984, into a
musical family. I am the only child of Bobby and
Cathy Smith. I was raised in Eden, NC, and I am a
member of Liberty Baptist Church in Reidsville,
NC. I received Christ at the age of 7 in a K-Mart
parking lot, so I am a true testimony that you can
receive Christ anywhere, anytime. Although I do
not remember much about the occasion, I do know
it happened. I began to sing in the choir at age 15
and that is where I first learned the harmony parts.
All this singing allowed me to develop an ear for
the bass part. I then joined up with a group of
friends, called Justified, to sing specials at
church. I sang with them until I began my
Bachelor's degree at Liberty University in Biblical
Studies. While I attended Liberty, I sang with my
family group the
London Trio. I am forever indebted to these ladies
for their influence and Spiritual mantle that I am
blessed with and will carry forward into the next
generation. I graduated from Liberty in May of
2007, and I decided to pursue a full-time music
ministry career.  I then went to the Steve Hurst
School of Music in the summer of 2007, and
received a degree in vocal performance. I joined
the Emmaus Road Quartet on July 31, 2007 and I
have not looked back!  I am excited to see where
God takes us in the future.
